| I've read them and followed your ordeal. I'm sure you already know this, when a motor isn't starting, it's usually the fuel or the spark. If you have spark then you then the problem is in the fuel delivery (and vice versa). Based on your description, your problem seems to be the fuel. Here's a few questions since your responses and descriptions in the previous posts were vague. 1. You said you verified fuel pressure and it was "fine." How you did verify it and what was the actual reading with the fuel pump on? It should read about 2.6 kg/cm^2 or 37 psi. 2. Did you check to see if the fuel pressure dropped significantly when you tried to crank the motor? 3. If you've already Ohm tested the injectors, what were the results, how many Ohms on each injector? Did you test it at the ECU harness or at the injector? To rule out damage to the EFI harness during your plenum pull, it is strongly advise that you check at the ECU as well. Good injectors will read between 12-14 Ohms, anything outside that range means the injector needs to be replaced. 4. As for the spark, I know you said you're getting spark, but how did you confirm this? Did you actually witness the spark from one of the plugs? Or did you just assume so because the CAS was firing the injectors? Lastly, you wouldn't happen to have a current shot of the passenger side of the engine bay do you? If you need help, you're welcome to call me since I'm in Japan. But as I work long hours during the week, understand that I may not answer the call at all during the day, your best shot would be during the weekend. Hit me on email and I'll give you my number. Hell, if I'm allowed on base, I can make a trip if you're willing pay for my fare :)
